Is it possible to pay the deposit with a prepaid card? I am already doing the car rental reservation at the Leonardo da Vinci International Airport but is not clear if a prepaid card can be used or not.

No, it is not possible (with any supplier) to pay the security deposit with a prepaid card, only with a Credit Card and some suppliers do accept a Debit Card, you can check it here:-

At STEP2 of our 3 step online booking process, to the right of the car photo of your choice, is a link entitled "IMPORTANT INFORMATION". Click on this link and it will open an additional smaller window, chose PAYMENT where the terms and conditions appertaining to that particular car at your chosen location are displayed. You may wish to try a few different suppliers, as their deposit amounts do vary:

Can we pay the cost for the extra driver when we pick up the car?

Yes you pay on arrival. It is not possible to pay online for any extra. The extras are always payable on arrival when you pick up the vehicle.
